The Aftermath of Orkney: A Spiritual Journey Beyond the Stones

I went on a very spiritually charged trip to Scotland…
And I’m still processing it all.

How do you neatly wrap up enormous feelings, sensations, glitches, and dreams into one neat Instagram package? I struggled to find the words for the past few days so when people ask me how my trip was, I just replied with “good!”.
But it wasn’t “good”. It was the taste of a new fruit exploding on the taste buds of your tongue. It was invigorating like wind whipping your hair and the feeling of the salty sea spraying your face. It was comforting like a warm, cozy blanket on a rainy day. It was activating in my body down to the cellular level.
A full ride throughout all the senses that cannot be pinpointed with one answer that can fit inside a caption.
It was the ecstasy of new connections and synapses forming but also the agony of physical pain as the body tried to process all the information and density as the frequency shifted.

I don’t have the luxury of hindsight making everything clearer and easy to explain and others to digest. It’s the gritty, messy, raw, vulnerable space of being inside of it in real-time. I don’t have all the answers of what this trip meant to me yet. Yes, it was impactful. Monumentally so. But how that transpires and makes sense is still being shown.
And I share this to offer another view of these high spiritual events and experiences. It’s not just the spiritual journey to Orkney, the ayuhasca in Peru, the group travel to Bali; the highlight reels if you will. It’s the integration and embodiment (or lack thereof) in the aftermath. When the ceremony is done, can your body still hold the resonance? In the aftermath of the activation, can you still hold it? Can you not only attune to the shifts in consciousness in the cognitive/mental field but also the physical?
Because it’s easy to feel God, the Universe, your true connection to self when you’re in a container that has a main goal of creating that intention. It’s a whole other beast when you’re also being asked to maintain baseball schedules and staying on top of laundry. How do you balance being a spiritual and energetic being after having a massive shift while still firmly living in the 3D?
And because I’m me and embodiment and a clear, coherent energetic signal is the foundation of my practice. My trip scrambling a bit of my signal and shifting my foundation in a massive way that is rippling out into all time and space is a big adjustment. But the beauty of it that I am slowly understanding is that I’m not meant to have all the answers about what this trip meant yet. I’m meant to allow it to unfold and unfurl in real time and share in the gritty, messy, rawness of it all. It’s a vulnerable space to be, but it’s calling me. And if it’s calling you to follow along with my process, come join me. Maybe there’s some kinship for both of us that can connect experiences in a way my logical mind cannot even fathom yet.
